After timing loopers, spreaders and needle bar during the beginning of the cycle (12 stitches at least ) , the left looper starts hitting the needle on the second part of te eye. This happens without fabric on the machine. Please advice what to do
The problem could be in wrong adjustment of loopers and spreaders towards a needle bar. Please follow instructions given in S-104 manual, page 1-71 and 1-76 "Loopers and spreaders adjustment". After the adjustments do test sewing and check the first and second row of the cycle sewing.

I have an older machine, and on the display, it shows „Watch Dog Error“. What do I do ?
- More than like the problem is a worn out motor. The stepping motor needs to be replaced.
- In some remote cases this can be caused by a power board or CPU board.

My machine is skipping stitches, how can this be corrected.
S-211
- Check needle to see if it damaged or bent.
- Check loopers and spreaders for damage.
- Check loopers for proper adjustment according to manual.
- If material is elastic, check clamps to see if they are applying even pressure.
- Check to see if proper clamps, length and width are being used for application being sewn. (special clamps are available for waistband buttonhole sewing).
- Check to see that the clearance between the needle and clamp feet is adequate, for elastic materials, this distance should be only about 1mm, during sewing.
- Thread tension on upper thread may be too tight.
- Make sure loopers & spreaders are Genuine AMF-Reece Parts (our name is on the shank).
- Be sure to use our recommended needle, or an exact copy of it, as needles do vary by manufacturer.

- Check knife and cutting steel, for damage.
- Be sure when changing knives and cutting steels, that they are properly aligned, and the cutting block or steel is properly filed to ensure a uniform cut.
- If the cutting is too much to the left or right, this can be adjusted from the display on S111/S211 models.

On cord trim models, how do I ensure that the threads are cut properly, and adjust if not ?
S-211
- Check the trimming shears for damage from the needle or cutting mechanism (this can occur if improper length of buttonhole is sewn).
- Check to see if the shears move freely, by removing the clamp plates and manualy cycling the shears. If this is a problem, clean the shears and mechanism, apply oil, and make sure nothing is blocking the function of the shears.
- Check air pressure, to make sure adequate pressure is available for the cutting cylinder to function (min 6 bar/atm about 80-90 psi).
- Check display to see if parameters are properly set for CT function S211/S111.

- Adjust the thread draw-off, to allow for longer length of thread to remain, after the completion of sewing buttonhole. (see manual for details).
- Adjust left forked spreader according to instructions in manual.
